Nikki is the creator of Just Think Dog, The Science of Dog Grooming. She qualified from Writtle College as a City & Guilds Level 2 Grooming Assistant in 2009 and also completed a Level 2 in Dog Behaviour and Training in the same year. Fully believing that to become a dog groomer you need to also have knowledge of behaviour and training.

Then went on to become a International Certified Master Groomer, which involved a total 14 practical and theory exams. More recently studying for DAATA-ICDG which is a qualification in dermatological grooming with an in depth knowledge of not only the science of the skin and hair, but the chemical which are used in our products. Qualified in levels 1 and 2 and presently studying for levels 3 and 4. Also qualified in Touch Level 3 for dog groomers.

With a keen interest in behaviour she completed Level 3 Training and Behaviour at Writtle College. Followed by further on line studies with The School of Canine Science, completing the Puppy Lab, 30 Days of Canine Science, Scent for Six and The Behaviour

Bible (which is a Level 6 Equivalent qualification)

Putting knowledge into practice by training her own cockapoo to a high standard training in obedience, rally, scent work, parkour (part of the Parkour UK Display Team at Crufts

2020), competitive grooming, trick training and heel work to music.
